This month we are detailing Phuket nature spots for your enjoyment, so strap on your hiking boots and prepare yourself for a wondrous day.

9 am – Sirinat Marine National Park

Sat in a beautiful location on the northwest coast of Phuket, straddling the Andaman Ocean is the Sirinat National Park, set over 90 square kilometers. Named after the Queen of Thailand, the park is home to some of the finest and most peaceful beaches in Phuket, such as Nai Yang and Mai Khao, alongside coral reefs, mangrove forests and dense jungle beauty. If you want to see Phuket at its beautiful best, a trip to start your day at the National Park is a must. The Casuarinas tree-lined beaches provide that paradise island retreat that not so many tourists get to see nowadays, so take full advantage of your day trip.

11:30 am – Brunch at Indigo Pearl Resort

This five-star resort on the northwest coast of the island is the ideal place for a spot of brunch. Refuel your body for the day ahead by dining at one of Indigo Pearls’ famous and critically acclaimed restaurants.

1 pm – Khao Phra Thaeo National Park

This national park is situated on the northeast coast of Phuket, combining conserved jungle vegetation and a host of birds, gibbons, barking deer, bears, wild boars, monkeys, and langurs. With several forest trails available, which are ideal for hikes, you can hire your own guide and explore until your heart is content. The park also has a small information center and a museum that you can take advantage of. Within the park, you can also explore its other famous natural attractions:

2:30 pm – Ton Sai Forest Park – Phuket Nature Spots

As part of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park, the Ton Sai Forest Park owns a waterfall that isn’t the biggest but is very scenic and worth a visit. The waterfall is located near the entrance of the park, so it is easy to access. Bask in the natural surroundings and realize what a beautiful part of the world Phuket is.

3:30 pm – Bang Pae Waterfall

Bang Pae Waterfall is also part of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park and is known as Phuket’s largest waterfall. Depending on the time of the year, the waterfall could have a limited amount of water. However, the 15-minute trek to the waterfall meanders through scenic jungle surroundings and is worthwhile in itself. On the grounds of the Bang Pae Waterfall, you will also find the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center, where you can observe these clever monkeys and make a small donation to the cause. Overall, the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park provides you with a wide choice of natural delights within the same area.

5 pm – Rang Hill – Phuket Town

After a long day trawling some of Phuket’s most beautiful attractions, traverse Rang Hill and observe panoramic views of Phuket Town. Here you can enjoy the natural beauty at this elevated location whilst stopping for a drink or snack at the restaurants perched on Rang Hill. This is the perfect way to end a scenic day away from the busier beachside destinations Phuket is famous for.

Our Phuket day trip options give you the perfect chance to visit many things on the island in a single day. This Phuket nature spots day trip suggestion will give you an insight into why the island is still regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit.
